Fairy Pools

At foot of the Black Cuillins near Glenbrittle are the Fairy Pools, beautifully crystal clear blue pools on the River Brittle. These famous pools entice visitors from all over the world.

Takisker Distilery

The whisky distillery on the Isle of Skye, set on the shores of Loch Harport with dramatic views of the Cuillins. This alluring, sweet, full-bodied single malt whisky is so easy to enjoy.

Classic tours available during opening times below - Adults £7.00, Children 8 - 17 year old £3.00, tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Elgol Boat Trip

Frequent sailings from Elgol to Loch Coruisk from Easter through to the end of October (booking is required).
These boat trips are ideal for watching the abundant sealife, although the wildlife is ‘wild’ and therefore unpredictable. We do often see Basking Sharks, Minke Whales, Common Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins. We even have the occasional sighting of Orcas - ‘killer whales’.

Neist Point Lighthouse

The point is regarded as the best place on Skye to see Whales, Dolphins, Porpoises and Basking Shark from the land. The sea around the point is teeming with sea-birds including Gannets, Black Guillemots and Razorbills.

Visiting will take on Average 1.5 - 2 hours.

Coral Beach

Claigan is a 10 minute drive from Dunvegan Castle, combining the walk to Coral Beach and a visit to the Castle could make a great day out.
The walk down to the beach is easy going along a farm track and takes about 25 mins.
